This project involved a full retail refit for Scribbler at their Wardour Street store in the heart of Soho. The brief was to deliver a complete transformation aligned with Scribbler’s latest store specification, while working within a tight programme and a high-footfall central London location.
Our approach focused on detailed planning, off-site manufacture of bespoke elements, and a carefully managed on-site installation to minimise disruption. By coordinating trades efficiently and sequencing works precisely, we were able to deliver a high-quality finish within a compressed timeframe.
Scribbler is a well-known UK retailer specialising in contemporary greeting cards, gifts, and stationery, recognised for bold design, strong colour palettes, and engaging retail environments. Their stores are designed to be bright, welcoming, and easy to navigate, placing a strong emphasis on customer experience and visual merchandising.
For this project, the aim was to create a fresh, vibrant store environment that fully reflected the Scribbler brand while improving layout flow, finishes, and overall presentation.
The scope of works covered a full strip-out and refit, incorporating architectural changes, bespoke joinery, and a complete services upgrade to meet Scribbler’s new store specification.
All bespoke elements were manufactured off-site to ensure quality control and reduce on-site installation time.

Off-site manufacture played a key role in overcoming these limitations, allowing the majority of joinery and fittings to arrive ready for installation.
Close coordination between trades ensured that decoration, flooring, electrical works, and joinery installation progressed smoothly without delays. The result was a seamless transformation delivered to a high standard within the agreed timeframe.
The completed store delivers a bold, modern retail space that reflects Scribbler’s brand identity and enhances the customer experience. The new layout improves circulation and product visibility, while bespoke units and architectural features add character and visual impact.
