Yolé is an international frozen dessert brand originally from Spain, with stores in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Their UK expansion brought them to the heart of Shoreditch – a trendy, competitive location where interior design is everything. Soho Shopfitters were tasked with a full venue refit, transforming the space into a visually striking, highly functional dessert bar aligned with Yolé’s global branding.

Working from a custom design, we manufactured and installed a fully bespoke illuminated counter, executed all electrical and plumbing works, and managed a complete aesthetic overhaul of the store. Our team handled the full scope – from joinery to signage – with precision and efficiency, completing the refit in under three weeks.

Scope of Work

This was a full venue refurbishment project for Yolé, an internationally recognised frozen dessert brand with a global presence. The Soho Shopfitters team were tasked with transforming the Shoreditch unit into a vibrant, modern retail space that reflected Yolé’s fresh branding and bold visual identity.

We began by producing a 3D concept of the space, allowing the client to sign off on every detail before the build began. The centrepiece of the fit-out was a striking bespoke counter, designed and fabricated in-house with integrated lighting and seamless curves. This was accompanied by full electrical installation, custom signage, new plumbing infrastructure, and complete decoration throughout. The final result is a sleek, high-impact environment that balances functionality with brand storytelling — delivering a customer experience as smooth as Yolé’s famous zero sugar ice cream.

Challenges and Solutions

The project was a tight turnaround in one of East London’s busiest areas. We managed out-of-hours deliveries and coordinated trades to minimise disruption. The curved counter was a standout challenge – designed in-house and built with durable Hi-MACS solid surface, the counter needed seamless LED channel integration, branding cutouts, and food-safe performance.

Yolé’s brand identity relies heavily on clean aesthetics and lighting, so the finish had to be flawless. We worked closely with the client and designers to deliver a crisp, modern look that met international brand standards while feeling fresh in its Shoreditch context.
